Using the comma to join two clauses in one sentence.
When you begin your sentence with a "Adverb Clause", you need a comma to separate the other part of the sentence which contains another clause.
e.g
Although Adam works hard, he will fail.
1st clause: Although Adam works hard (Phrasal verb)
2nd clause: he will (Modal Verb) fail.
Note: A clause is a group of words that contains a verb.
Please note this punctuation rule for the rest of the synthesis exercises.
